Work of art as a gift
In today’s world, the art market is one of the most important and valuable markets. Art products as capital are increasingly turning into a powerful economic stream. As is seen in prominent auctions around the world, art is considered an attractive investment, which at the same time creates cultural value as well as economic value, while traditional capital only creates economic value; In other words, cultural investment is distinguishable from other types of capital; since it provides both materialistic and non-materialistic benefits for its owner.
The art economy in Iran does not have a long history and goes back less than a decade. We decided to collect creative works of art by the country’s young artists at Hichaa Gallery to improve the relationship between investors and artists and encourage people to invest in art. Additionally, we decided to promote works of art in the design and decoration of different urban spaces such as hotels, residential towers, hospitals, and similar places.
In this regard, in March 2023, Hichaa Gallery shared the idea of artworks as New Year’s gifts to customers with Baran Construction Holding and it was well approved and appreciated by them.

After the start of this cooperation, Hichaa Gallery formed a professional team of artists and art experts to select artworks according to the characteristics and interests of the customers. In the process, hundred works of art were purchased from young and progressive artists. Fortunately, part of the cash flowed through the artistic economic cycle of Mashhad and other cities in Iran. Then the stage of issuing authenticity certificates and verifying the authenticity of artwork began. The artwork certificate is in a unique graphic style made by Hichaa Gallery and in English with technical information including dimensions, size, material, the creator of the work (artist), and its buyer (owner).

Packaging was the last stage of this process. We tried to ensure the safety of the artwork and prevent damage by using proper materials and emphasizing the visual beauty of the packaging.
In this process, along with Baran Holding Group, we tried to satisfy customers and create a new and unique experience. In addition to inviting other investment and construction companies, including hotels, hospitals, and residential and commercial towers to pay attention to art and artists as social assets, we played a role in the economic cycle of art and spreading the culture of buying works of art as gifts to fulfill our social responsibilities.
This collaboration was just the beginning. We do our best to overcome all the obstacles and be helpful in investing in artworks and the art economy.
