Razie Vojdani’s painting, dimensions150 x 199 cm, is created with acrylic on canvas; it is an abstract art. The art of creating the world through the lens of the artist’s mind; Motifs that have only left a trace of themselves; a combination of colors and forms. In abstract art, the artist sits in the position of creator and makes his own world; the made up world of artist does not necessarily match to the characteristics of physical world in which we live.

The artist creates a world that begins and ends in canvas; A personal world with elements came out of the artist’s mind; A world in contrast to figurative art; However, sometimes motifs of figurative art make their way to the abstract canvas; Motifs that have left a part of themselves in the artwork.

Iranian artists have long used abstract art in architecture, tile, carpet and miniature design; Greenery, human, animal and of course imaginary motifs that are abstracted from nature and turned into various design of which can be seen in our ancestors’’ artworks.

With this in mind, Razieh Vojdani created her artwork in abstract frame.
