My F*** Bourgeois Client is an artwork by Mohammad Mahdi Zulfiqari with dimensions of 18 x 22 x 43.5 cm, which is created with stone, fiber and metal.
A different embodiment to a concept; the idea is inspired by a rich client who, in addition to the purchased item, wanted an artwork as a gift and took it with him. A relatively upright composition with details in the fabrication is seen in the artwork. The lines on the stone represent the collar of a coat and emphasize the masculinity of the subject. In addition to those waves on his face, as a beard, they complete a man’s facial posture. Wavy lines are also a sign of bad temper of a rich man. The eyes show a combination of wonder and narcissism. The man’s face is creatively deformed, reminiscent of Cubism.
A rope is placed on the coat and can be reminiscent of pocket watch chain and a pair of hanging glasses (a symbol of the bourgeois class). At the bottom left, a cottage with a closed wooden door is a symbol of the monopoly of the bourgeois buyer.
